Classes listed below require entrance evaluation
The following levels will begin to utilize space outside
The Home Studio
Karar was founded in 2010, in the WI area, by Holly Hutchens. Recently, Chad and Holly Hutchens have relocated to Spring valley MN where Holly will be opening a second location.
Holly will begin the training of all Fundamentals Dancers in a small studio space in their home at:
112 S Washington Ave.
Let's call this small space, The Home Studio!
As the dancers advance, they will need more room to move!
We will be renting space in either a downtown shop or at the Community Center.
The Home Studio is a great spot!!
Not only to begin a dancers training, but also to slow down and work on building strength or perfecting intricate skills such as turns. The home offers a parent waiting area and a welcoming feel.
We expect that developing and progressing dancers will come back to this home space again and again as they progress in their training.
Ballet 3 & up-
Students deepen their understanding of technique, increase pace, add skills and advance combinations. Testing required for completion.
Pre Pointe & Pointe 1 -
A first level pointe class by instructor recommendation only. OR a pre pointe class for dancers who have passed Fundamentals 2 and are not yet ready to be en pointe.
A second level pointe class by instructor recommendation only.
Stretch, Strength and Extend-
A full body stretch class using movements that flow smoothly to increase flexibility, decrease muscle tension, develop core strength, and improve leg extension.
Not every class listed below will be offered, at the opening of the studio.
Class levels will open as dedicated dancers develop the needed skill sets.
